What for a Script are u using ?
Its defintily recommendet to install this script on a root Server, because Shared hoster doesnt have the minimal req. Ressources for this.
If u own a Server, check all Linkings in req.php, index.php, and others, who you have to change it (depends on the release)... After this you have to check all databsse settings you done. (You need to set up the root User for mysql, not the normal with restrictions).
