Could you wait for version 2.0.1? That version handles the special characters in notifications better. I hope to release it tonight.

Uthar - I love the advanced timers now.

I do have two future suggestions to think about. Not even needed.

1. It would be helpful to be able to auto-cast spells on city (pop growth + call of the ocean)

2. It would be nice to have some control on order of building units (both barracks and navy) and also to specify a max queue size. There is probably a number of ways to handle it. you could have something like the building bot queue for units, or just have settings like "sequence loop on units, you put numbers like 1-5 in units you want to build" and then a setting for "max queue size".

just thoughts. but thanks for 2.0.1 - timer settings are great. especially the reconnect. our server has problems alot and the random 2 - 20 mins was not the best.

I'll probably add the auto-cast in the future.

Could explain a few things about the unit queue improvement? Not sure if I understand it correctly.
Do you mean to use the numbers 1-5 to set a priority? Thus first build the unit with number 1, then 2, etc.
And the "max queue size"? The unit queue ingame is always 7, so I think you mean something else with this?

Regarding reconnect timer:

What is the setting under advanced for Reconnect Timer? I was hoping this would be the "max" setting for what the random will calculate too. I get dc'd b/c I play sometimes off hotspot from phone.

Regarding unit production planning - I was throwing ideas out that would be the least development / effort for you.

1. Queue - bot - here you queue a unit with a unit count, like 30 hops, 30 archers, and you manually stack it all up just like building queue.

2. Configure a build pattern. In the build pattern - you would specify a sequence, 1 thru N - And then for each sequence you would specify unit size, so hoplite, sword, archer, sword - 10, 15, 10, 15 - respectively. Then you could put a small flag if you want the sequence to loop over and over as long as there is resources available and queue for the game barracks / harbor is open.

regardless of option 1 + 2 - it would be VERY helpful to have an extra flag to queue or not queue if pop growth or call of ocean is not active on city.

I'll see what I can do about the reconnect timer. The next version will probably have also a maximum setting.

For the time being I'll keep it by the current unit queue. First I want to start working on some other features.

I miss the pop growth or call of ocean myself too. The bot has however not yet the knowledge to see what spells are active. Will first have to find the correct server response that has this info.
I'll add this after I get trading working.

Great job, you´re the dealmaker

@Utharnl: It is possible to add a function for proxy connections? So you can set the bot to connect over a proxy server and not the real i-net connection. If this is possible so we can run the bot twice and can play the account together without the same i-net connection!

That would be so cool, but the work you do is great, big thanks!

No sorry that is not possible.
There are however programs that let you specify which programs should connect with a proxy.

For example:


Use it at your own risk.

Why not use the new farming style? (2.08 version)

Unfortunately that feature is only available for Premium grepolis users. Not everyone is spending money on Grepolis so I have to use the slower system, otherwise the bot wouldn't work for everyone.
