[Release] Grepolis 2 bot

So i have had problems with the V2 ( the v1 works ) of the bot for a while now... I just cant get it to work. The settings are correct BUT:

When i press login it just says : "Connection to: "

and just waits for something...

If i go on the browser tab I see my city and if i click on something... It just changes to "Reconnect: XX:XX:XX "

In the log i get: " 17.06.2011 11:01:33 Can't login. Problem with url. See debug.txt. "
In the Debug:

17.06.2011 11:01:33 Connection to server lost. Starting reconnect...
17.06.2011 11:01:33 Login error in webBrowserGrepo_DocumentCompleted():

I took a look at the source code and what i noticed is that in GrepolisBot2.cs line 1106 - 1107 ( In that area just jumps out and it never get to the while on line 1110 ) ...

Am i doing something worng ? or ?

Any help would be apriciated....

how long you are banned? is banning attackable?

i think all events can be on the same second. to be save it must be possible to get a kind of queue. all events go to this queue and run in a time difference. maybe with a kind of anti-timing-rule. i dont know if its possible to realise. im not a programmer.

Hi uthar,

i am new to grepolis, and of course it didnt take long for me to realize how much i hate farming.

then i found your bot, which I love. i already have it installed and working. and i really love it.

my biggest concern is the recent post of users who got banned. One of the users offered a good idea on spreading out the farming. I think if you developed a quick "pausing technique" - you could even have the pauses be randomly assigned a number 1 - 10 to represent the number of secs.

My understanding is that your browser scripting is impossible for them to recognize. The only thing the grepolis game managers have is information on their servers for logged activity.

I see from your post you are on studies, but I will give you this standing offer. If you offer a new version with the built in pausing for farming, before I get banned, I will donate $150 usd to you.

It's probably what 2 hrs of coding / work for you ?

i suggest it was due the bot of grepolis.net.

i use this nearly 24/7 without any problems. for a couple of weeks i used it for the account of a friend, too. no problems. as far as i remember Utharn said that he has built in a randomizer. do I remember right?

i will not stop using it. it is so cool.

from what i can tell the randomizer is on the when the refresh is perform. so if you put 2 mins, the bot will do 2 mins and 4 secs, 2 mins and 5 secs, 2 mins and 1 sec, etc..

the problem is that once the bot kicks off, it goes way to fast for a human. so i am suggesting a randomizer / pauser functionality between each single farm demand for each city.

Sorry to hear you were banned, on what server was that? Should be very useful for other players.
The game moderators are then very active on that server because they would need to check every server request manually.

This bot works only on 2.0 servers

Yes, mostly everything is random already. Refresh timer, queue timer, reconnect timer, sequence of server requests. But the delay between server requests not yet.

I have plans to change the bot structure which will make it possible for me to add a random delay after each server request. For example between the requests for looting the farmers.
I'll start working on this in two weeks.

The building names are still available, you can hover your mouse over the plus(+) button. I'll add an option in the next version so you can choose whether or not you want the building tooltips.

No idea how high you are in the rankings or have a leading roll in an alliance? Then the chances are bigger some reports you just for fun. They can detect it manually when they look good, but normally they shouldn't have a reason to watch your account like that.

I know IE is slow but unfortunately I can't do anything about it, this is the only good working browser for the .NET Framework.
