[Release] Grepolis 2 bot

Bot works all and good. Except for this error message that occurs roughly every 5 minutes, but sometimes can go for hours without this message occuring.

Exception in m_HttpHandlerCheckVersion_DownloadStringCompleted( ): Unable to connect to the remote server
Connection to server lost. Starting reconnect...

Have to restart the program, it gets pretty annoying after a while.

omg! loading is very very very "FAST". I will use 1.1.3.

I've been using Uthar's bots for more then 1 year, on several servers including .com and .ro I didn't have any problems, and I don't think I will ever have xD

If you use the IE proxy the intern browser of the bot will have the proxy but the other webrequests of the bot will not use that proxy.

That error is fixed in 1.1.4

Loading time should be the same for both 1.1.3 and 1.1.4. Or maybe 1.1.4 is slower if you don't have IE 9 installed.

No mass bans with my previous grepolis bot and this bot seems to be doing fine too so far.

I have one small issue. The building queue is not working.

Farming is working fine, so I know that the bot is connecting properly. Also, I can see the current building queue, but the bot is not initiating any construction. I tried with the target option, and I tried manually by adding buildings to the queue, but it's not working.

When I add manually to the queue, the builings disapears after the next update, like if the bot think it was able to ask for the construction.

Any clue what it can be? There is nothing in the debug file.

Meanwhile, I figure it might be because I duplicate the folder from another account, and the city # in the config file is not good. So when the order is sent, the server is not accepting it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's the reason. I removed the XML files to re-start from scratch, and everything seems to be working fine now...

I think you forgot to press save. Because when you press save all towns in your xml file that you don't have any more (or never had in your case) are removed.

Nope sorry, there were a few users who tried to use mono but haven't heard any positive results. You could however install a virtual machine with windows on your mac. That should work just fine

I don't have a MAC myself so don't know any details.

The software is called VMware Fusion:

It's not a free program but maybe google can help you find a free version

Isn't there someone near you or at home who can help you with installing it?

Otherwise I'm sure there is a manual for that program.
