If it's not possible to trade it will try the next one until all towns are checked. It should never skip towns. When I have some time I'll look into it. Possible not before next weekend.

With which IDE do you work on the bot? I have installed MS Visual C# 2010 Express and your sourcecode from the webside. I wanted to take a look .
Is that the actual sourcecode? I get compile errors but I am not an experienced .NET-Developer.

I use visual studio 2010 for this, the express edition works fine too.
The source code is from an older version but you can still compile it. You need to make sure you added the dll files as a reference.

Ok, it compiles but the source is for Version 1.1.9.0.
Can you provide a newer Version or do you have an anonymous access to an SVN-repository etc.?

No sorry, that is the latest source code available. Newer versions contain the donator features and some server validation that I would like to keep private.

That email feature is created to work with gmail. It will probably work with others too but I can’t help you with that, there are just too many configurations.
I suggest to create a gmail account to send the emails. You settings will look like this then:

Email: The email address that receives the warnings
User Name: Your gmail address
Password: Your gmail password
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587

Ah, ok. Then I think a cannot find out about the trading behaviour.
However, I am a donator already .
I made a final test test with trading. I have several Islands with >7 towns. I have set one town on each island in receive mode. Same behaviour than described above. There are some trades triggered, but only from/to towns on the same island. Many possible helpful trades from one island to another are not triggered.

Make sure you enter at:

User Name: Your gmail address

Your gmail address, this includes @gmail.com. It doesn't work if you only enter your name.

The bot sees all towns on the same Island as distance 0. See they will always get the resources first. That looks correct in your test.
Could you for the other towns go to the trade tab and check if "Max. Trade Distance" settings isn't too low.

I have checked this already. The max distance is at 100 (default) and there is a list of towns in trade rage... this list contains (correctly) always all my towns because they are not widely spread and all in range 100. I think my problem is that there are too many towns in very close range. There are often more than 8 towns on one island (so distance 0 as you described).

I can't think of any reason why that could cause problems. But I'll keep watching it, maybe I'll notice something strange.

The next update of Grepolis (2.3) will have new bot detection system that uses captcha. All versions of this bot will be detectable.

Although most servers are still at version 2.29 a few have already been updated to version 2.3. Thus be careful and stop using the bot when your server is updated to version 2.3.

If you want to help solve this problem you can help gather information. Things I would like to know are:
-After what actions is the captcha check activated?
-What is the connected timer of the bot when you see the captcha check.

@Uthar there are Captchas like 78+26=? and u have to type the correct answere
and sometimes the bot farm one farm and then go on and says that there are no more farms available :

Thanks for the feedback Ryoko. Regarding your farms, the message "No farmers available at the moment." is normal. The bot will farm again when the timer is ready.
