It might be also a point that GG is causing some heavy latency between the client and the parsing packets to the gameserver after all.
Just comparing yestarday's and today's gameplay, on the new server Twin Wagons. Hell, it is lagging ridiculously hard. As well noticing that GG keeps allocating loads of RAM.

That is true.

You earn an additional 300~500MB of RAM usage with gameguard on.
