Chat Tricks

The Chat in Battle of Immortals sucks.. i know that, you know that and everybody knows that.
So there are some Tricks to make this Chat usefull.

How to Increase the Chatlength

You can only use 60 Signs in one Chatmessage. But there is a Trick to change this to 180 Signs.

Go to

\Battle of the Immortals\Bin\Config\G_configures.xml

Go and open this .xml with Notepad
Look for the follow Line

<element id="chat_max_input" value="60"/>

Go and change the Number 60 to 180
Max are 180 Signs.
Overwrite the Data and win.

Screen or didnt happen

Remove the Chatfilter

Words like "Fuck" or "Dick" are not allowed.. but we can change that.
Go to

\Battle of the Immortals\Bin\Config\Setting\

and delete or change the Name of

"Undueword.xml"

And Voila you can insult the Players ;D

Flashing/Moving Text

Flashing text:[ray=50edge]
Colored text:[color=ffC709F7]
Scrolling text:[fly]

Flashing: The number is for how fast it flashes. The bigger the number the faster it flashes. There is NO space between 50 and edge just copy past them exactly how they are.

Colors: The letters and numbers after = in [color=_______] is the color code. You can google for HTML color codes or Hexadecimal color codes.

Now some of you that know HTML probably will think you need to do something like this:
[ray=50edge]blah blah blah[/ray] The closing bracket isnt needed. You only have to put the codes BEFORE the text you put in.

Example of a perfectly working scrolling, flashing, colored text line:

[fly][ray=50edge][color=ffC709F7]Hello World

[Creestian]

try without "edge" works too

i like use this [ray=200]WORD

and you can swear if you type [' somwhere in between the words
for example try to type : fu['ck or cun['t ingame

does chatfilter only unfilter it for you or does the whole thing happen client side and your letters get through to the server for everyone to see?
