Yup, Oracle is back for a test run. And no, probably not the way you were expecting it to come back. The new Oracle server is running the Titan 1.8 patch, for an old-school feel.


Main Features

• NO Donations
• Custom built Launcher
• FREE ZEN
• NO AFK for power (Use Tree of Life for EXP)
• NO Perfect Revive
• ALL Gems are doubled in power (This means LV2 = LV1, LV3 = LV2, etc. So there are no LV1 gems on the server)
• Submit Suggestions directly from the Launcher
• Rate Suggestions submitted by other players, directly from the Launcher
• NO Website (Not needed, everything is in the Launcher)

There's been quite a few changes to the game itself as well. I'm not going to list them all, because having a list of all changes mean You, the player, have nothing left to explore. So here's a small list:

• EXP: x25
• Drop: x15
• Guild Ranks overhaul
• Achinoth the Giant spawns 3 times a day to accomodate timezones (20:00, 04:00, 12:00)
• Customized Bountyhunter rewards
• Pet Changes
• Levelup to LV70 from LV69 requires an extra challenge
• Mobs/Bosses are x3 times harder
• Tree of Life EXP rates increased
• Class balancing
• Able to solo most events, but more beneficial to do as a group
• Contribute to your Guild by Medal of Triumphs instead of Guild Quests (or just do both)
• Chrono Lair Dragons spawn every 3h, and now on two realms (6 & 4)
• Zodiac Gauntlet changes boss every day
• Taxes for Vending Items
• Guild Wardens and Elders are unlocked in Guild LV2

When is it live?
The Server will go online at roughly 20:00 Servertime (GMT+1) 2015-11-20. In the spirit of Timezones, Daily ZEN will not be available until 2015-11-21 00:00:01.


Launcher won't let me login or register!!!?
The Login and Registration will be unlocked on Friday when the server goes live. Until then, the Launcher won't work.



Launcher isn't working!!!???
Try running OracleLauncher-win32-x64\OracleLauncher.exe. If that one doesn't work, you're most likely not on a 64-bit system, so you should instead try OracleLauncher-win32-ia32\OracleLauncher.exe.

Also, the Launcher requires Windows 7 or above. Windows XP is not supported.

sounds nice, but:
seems like chrono lair dragons are customized, but last time killing them was a waste of time. rewards were: a ****** relic, a ****** pet (with a ****** ulti) and a skill that can be obtained from opening boxes. even tho the bosses were **** hard to kill! were any (or all) of those 3 rewards changed?

when you said "more beneficial to do events in group" i suppose it means you changed party bonus exp, but is it "the more the merrier"? is 5people group giving better total exp per person than a 3people group and obviously, better than a single person group?

i like the "english in public channels" rule, but i wonder what are you gonna do about people breaking it? it's rather common rule, that in the end, nobody cares about.

Without spoling too much: Yes, it should be worth killing the dragons here with the items added to the loot table.

The thing to keep in mind is you won't just create a character and load up with a Zodiac Pet in this server. Getting a Zodiac Pet might take a day or two of doing events/spending Daily ZEN. So for some people, or at least for alt characters, these dragon pets may come in handy when leveling.


More beneficial in group I am referring to the time spent in the instance. You'll finish it a lot faster with a group, than on your own. And it grants more experience.


The English rule isn't something I will sit around 5h/day and ban people for. Perhaps I'll write a script connected to google's translate to detect Warcrys that are not in english, but honestly, that feels like going overboard.

Just to be clear, what sort of "botting" does this mean we cannot do? Are we going to have combat aid for high lvl grinding if possibly needed? Or nah?

Combat Aid isn't included in the Client (requires the correct Intelligence.UI file), and even if modified manually, the required level for Combat Aid is set to 150, with 130 being the max level.

I dislike Combat Aid. It's what gave birth to AFK-for-power, which is just a stupid way of running a server.

So in short, no, there won't be Combat Aid. I made some altercations to tree of life making it give a lot more exp once every minute, while also speeding up the regular exp tick rate. So exp wise, it should be fine. You just won't wake up one morning with 1000 Anni-ver-say-cele-brations to turn in for free power while you were sleeping.

In regards to what kind of botting: Any. When I disable CA completely, I don't want others to use a 3rd part application to achieve the same thing I just tried to block out.

I was happy when i saw you bringing oracle back up, tho 2 kids + full time work = not much playing time so with out the possibility to grow some by grinding i see myself not having a chance to take down the players that have time for this! Hope your server gets good activity for those who can play and sorry that i cant be around to enjoy it, you always been the best menoz!
