Botting Character?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get into botting to farm some items, and I was wondering what you thought was the best toon for this?

I was thinking about going mage because of good AOE and high damage - should be able to sustain self with pots and such, and all around good character.

What character would you guys recommend for botting and why?

but mage and sorc too good to farm

No pots

2 skill Conversion so u make pots

Cheap weapons, just use wot u drop can use staff or wand

Easy skilling

No brainer really sorcs all the way

I use Ele's now.

Only use Poison AOE (DOT) with nice weaps i hand down from bot to bot.

To make Mana last longer, I stone whatever **** Accessories I drop with Mana regen stones. When I drop a level 1 Ph. Resist stone, I sell it in AH and use that gold to re-supply Mana if necessary.

My Mana lasts a loooong time.

The Ele only hits the mobs once and if the initial hit don't kill 'em, the DOT does.

Only use 1 AOE skill to kill, so Mana use is not excessive. Ele's have very nice defences too with Soul Barrier and Frost Armour. My Ele's make lots of reds.

PS: Yeh, I run a Sorc too. I just like Ele's is all.

Nice, do you run with poison stones in your weapons? Or ele stones? What is an example of one of your nice weps that you hand down? Any tips on places to bot?

I made 1 weap with Scion stones cause the weap was so good, but I also made some with L3 Poison stones as well and they are great as well and re-inforce the Poison hit from Poison Vapour.

Bot on mobs a lot lower than the bot. Up to 11 levels will still drop the Ashtal Scraps and some stuff.

I use some OK staff on lower levels while leveling the bot for a bit for the bigger hit, but go to a Chakram with 'Poison Vapour' yellow stat on it.

As for armour if you get a Garb with 'Poison Vapour' yellow, and a Skirt with 'Frost Armour' and 'Soul Barrier' yellow -life is good.

Max. 'Fine Chakram' and 'Recovery Time' buffs.

An Ele suit helps a lot, but not absolutely necessary. Use the gift suits from level up gift otherwise.

That nice Chak i Scioned up is 8/8 Scions/+13 and +28 Dge/11 Ele damage /Stun and AR, but its a bit extreme for botting with really.

The other Chaks are Poison Stones.

I doubt I'll be able to get a wep as good as your 8/8 scion wep (what level wep is that one by the way?) but I'm on my way to getting a good setup. Mind if I pm you if I have anymore questions?
