It depends, if you can't afford much WC, I would recommend a human, for the rvr buffs, it will help, even if just a bit. If you can afford much WC, play whatever class you like.

If u wanna have a char whos fun to play, its ranger for sure. Even if they are weak and nerfed its still fun ******** around with them.

Ranger is rly fun to play, one of my 2 favourite classes. And ye, it's 'prettty' strong atm. And if u know how to play it... You gonna have lots of fun

Ranger is very good and if the things is change again ( to worst ) you have the ultimate buff char

Ranger > Swash > Ele
Swashs can be really good if you build them correctly either on full crit or full damage.. on the other hand they're no great tanks.
If you're the first attacker, Rangers are badass because of their incredibly high heroic damage. They are weak against critters, though.
And I won't start with Eles..
