Hey, as title say, I wanna know how to decrease AL client graphics more for less memory usage, like disable any effect(world, combat, weapon), paint materials in 1 color, etc.
I edited COption.ini to reduce everything to minimum, but I need more result.
I tried the search function, but no preciously answer.
look in to the natureeffect.ini for world effects rains snow etc.
for collering the drops u can look into the itemdatadable.ini but u can not change the drop coler if the drop atm on the erth only the name if see by loot the drop or hover over your item in invetory.
the color from the chat can u change in alcolors.ini and the colors form the titelsystem in titel.....xml i dont now the name yet im atm on work xD
ahh but u can download the ini form my signatur
if have no snow and rain new colors by the titel and in the chatsystem
the only one what i dont change is the itemdatatable.
i mean is not helpfull if u can not thenge the color by drops on earth
and to turn off the other effects pls use the ingame menü ("O") and the windows if u start AL
ArchlordColor.ini // Chatcolors
natureeffect.ini // Snow Rain some other effects
titlesetting.xml // Color fro the Tittels
itemdatatable.ini // color from the itemnames but only by the ui Messages and if u hover over the items (colorchange use only by pieces what have an other color then the normal color)
grasstemplate.ini - clear this file to 0 bytes to remove grass (only this animated)
alefskysetting.ini - clear this file to 0 bytes to remove sky texture
edit: u can also speed up loading while using teleports or /go
just remove lands' names or make it shorter in regionglossary.txt
How can I edit regionglossary.txt (and the other ini's except COption.ini)? I opened, but everything is a big mess of characters. What program should I use?

Modifying the Client? ? 05/16/2011 - Archlord - 3 Replies A few questions back when the scion released and the crit bug was there. The first patch made it to impossible to put wep in bag but not pet bag. Also noticed it was a client patch only. 2nd patch made the pet bag impossible but made refined rings stack with evolution. Also noticed only a client patch. So my question was it a client only and not a server patch and if so then can't we modify the client and glitch hack what ever?.. And yes I can bypass patch process completely no not GG though.

Modifying Graphics Files 07/10/2007 - Archlord - 2 Replies Hi All,
I have been doing some work on modifying the graphics files used to render objects in the game client. I know the files are Renderware .DFF files and that there are multiple models per file. Data.Dat file appear to be the actual models and Reference.Dat is an index into the model file (probably used to accelerate model location and rendering.) My goal is to see if I can make a hole in the walls of the dungeons so that I can run through them (perhaps to get to my hunting spot...
