Attention: Loginserver being attacked?

Few moments i noticed that the loginserver is extremly slow, so since it was actually stabe for a quite long time since now, i think they are being attacked bei hackers

Hopefully they shut the game down while they are there, so we can all start on the road to recovery from our archlord addiction, lol

We all ***** about AL, but I'll probably play the piece of **** until the bitter end. =(

seems so, mainly DoS attacks.

Since last login patch, seems they had new NATs etc...

but...

prob just a bunch of script kiddies mad at webzen. Although it was rather funny when someone actually did hack the FTP server and made an account as a GM and posted on the forums.

Honestly.. I don´t know any game which shuts down the forum for so long time. Probably thats the forum everyone in the game is using now :>

The funny thing is , it is for all webzen games and the other games have had their forums closed longer then archlord. Archlord was the last game to have their forums shut down. We are dealing with an incompetent company that has no idea how to support their customers , and gets players (AKA Volunteers) to support their customers yet the Volunteers get no support it is a broken system.

How long had the log-in bug been around ? how long ago were they told about it. The log-in bug was not just for archlord either.
Bottom line webzen has no idea how to run a MMO gaming company.They just know how to suck money from their customers.

That´s a known problem and I´m still wondering how they can keep their costumers(probably ´cause the game is fcking awesome) and I´m wondering how the people of the other games feel. Now we´ve got a not working login server and Webzen can´t be contacted. Probably they don´t even know that the server isn´t working and they don´t even work(sitting down at home and drinking coffee hoping that the servers are still working).

Yes you have right, they havent any idea how to support their customers. They promise so much things, but when they want to do it? - Easy Answer: Never, they just hold the game online for max. 2 Years and they will close it.

As long as there are people who are giving money they won´t shut it down. The worst thing(maybe it is even the best thing) they can do is give it to another company and just do what they can do best: watching others work and relax. As compensation we had gotten on that other DoS also for a week or so 3x exp + wc that was being used at that time back.

Yes and thats sad. There will be always any WC freaks, who hold the bugged / bad supported game alive.

I was told January. im assuming at the end of the month so they can milk out any time they can.

regarding the topic of slow or closed login server, is this issue still going on right now?

if its fixed I wont bother, but if its still a problem i can report it.

That happens when u use public login servers as **** databases. A coder of an aion pserver once stored over 120 GB on his server and wondered why it was so slow.

And ofc failzen can't even deal with a single ddos/loic.
I wonder for how long wz will be down if antisec attacks all their game servers.
