Hey Plox, would it be possible to add an ocean top transparency option? I'd love to have a very slight ocean top to be able to actually see where the water was. Thanks for considering.

Also, could you add a default water level button for Derp?

Seems hard to find chests now on the newest server. Yesterday I nailed a few but now none today. You know it's bad when the cheaters are having a hard time finding chests hahaha

Your water is not at the highest, it's at the highest the app allow you to set it.
The guy might have get it there by swimming/flying, or teleporting, or it's simply a pack that bugged.

There's a permanent TP hacker bot that takes all the chests on my server, he even tp'd to one I was taking and stole it, used play dead and tped away....

How do I report this guy? And do they even do anything about it?

He only takes the chests in halcyona gulf and castaway strait for some reason

Gliding on sea? Not quite sure I follow. The fall damage is being worked on now aswell ( do keep in mind I'm 1 person doing alot of work into alot of things with assembly here an it isn't exactly that easy to do all of this all at once ).

Yes for the water transparency and also going to be an option in derp sometime next week an replace the shader files if people would prefer not to use them an instead derp which will control the fog of the water top/while diving. Turning off the water level button will reset it to default, does that not suffice?

Getting to this, Water: toggles it on/off when you click the text. I will make it more obvious but I needed to hotfix the terrain slider again cause of a boo-boo I did when adding in the water leveler.

I will change this, to the guy whom asked ontop of this, to be able to increase it higher and allow maximum the heightmap will allow on the next update of derp.

Reporting something like that is a bit of a difficult task, your cheating afterall so trying to print screen or record would be, well, obvious.. So trying to catch his name an pop the report window fast enough is the only thing or just sending in a ticket with his name and GM's will usually monitor or be stupid and blind-ban. I don't really like bots at all, which is why I never will bother to code one an have declined the asking of people to get me to make one.. I know it's tedious to do things in game but I find it relaxing after a day to just kill shit or derp in the ocean an such, not have something automate it for me. I think if it almost like an aimbot, just kind of defeats the entire purpose, sure it makes you gold/$ , but meh - I can do that myself and all be it slower, it's just making the game pointless and only producing greed and overall ruining it for everyone.

Reason they are probally only taking there, kraken/levi and the bot being killed by it by chance or the jellies that hang around alot of them.

This of course, with them botting them to death, is going to ruin it for everyone.. This is basically what has happened to the AH and the bots scripting into that so badly with the timers an them changing it - which fucks it for everyone in the long run cause xl/trion get the attention of it an are forced to make a change based on the players and in short, kill it off for people who do it manually/quietly. This is why I don't condone bots nor care if they are reported/banned but will never bother to report a person clip hacking or else wise. Bots over time ruin it for legit & non legit.

I will have some things wiped up for the weekend for everyone, no worries

Anyone can tell me ideas to use the clipping? the only place i know that works to open chests in the sea , on dahutta place, theres a cave that you dont need to kill that high level boss to enter in the room of chests

so, share your ideas xD

i think clipping inside lib will be cool

I think he meant Glide without the turbulence you get at sea.

I hate to keep mentioning it, but this is day two of not being able to find a single chest on the newest server. Is anyone in the same boat? I have everything updated and terrain on max settings. I can see some chests waaaay out of the map boundaries, but for the most part I have made 3 hour long voyages both days with nothing to be found.

Planting on 100' angles inside of a mountain rock while using the water in combination. Spawning your trade ship under the world to do trade runs from 1 place to another ( peirnore > villa ) and using water to move the packs up/down with a friend. You know your boat goes through terrain too & there is a water level under the terrain

Killed about 8 bots on my server doing it, seems they are farming in mass but the areas around levi/kraken are avoided so the bot doesnt die. I don't mind the cheating/hacking/ect, but botting is just going to fuck it up in the long run if it persists.. Don't think the farmers realize how much attention this is gaining from XL/Trion...
