Been having connection issues. Only able to stay connected for a minute then game disconnect me. Does Anybody having the same problems?

The servers were just lagging like hell earlier, many others were being constantly disconnected today too, including myself.

@Plox, i did again some test on the chinese server, i removed some of the mod that known not working on the chinese server, font, AH, etc, when i had full default set up as your originally arranged, it always shows packet error after the first success game, after i removed some of the mods, i installed only mods, NOT rolling cvars, and scripts, and i can succcessfully run the game as many times as i want without packet error, and the water mod underwater fog is all working well. i want to ask you in this case, if i just install the mods i want without rolling cvars and scripts and unroll them, will i get a ban?? also should i open derp as admin before i launch the game or after? when i tried last time to use an older version of derp, the moment i click water, my game just disappeared.

Are you able to set the max water level higher? I have it all the way up and I still can't get to the top of the mountains in Hasla. Seems like you might have to go up to 1500 as opposed to the current 900. Thanks!

Loving the water feature. A cool feature would be a trickle down button so the water level slowly trickles down to default so you don't kill yourself trying to get back to the bottom. Would also love a + or - button so you can manually do it yourself

Packet editing skills you don't have - yes. Bypassing the 50%, no.

Been asked before, its a global interaction, I cannot remove that without removing alot of other things people wouldn't want.

Undercutter means when you place an item in the AH it will put it under the lowest current seller of that item, its on by default in the AH scripts..

I would not think that derp would run on the chinese servers as a whole, cause of the different dll's that derp handles and variations between clients, but I could be wrong.

Uploading this right now/tonite in 1.0, getting back to work on what I was. Was a family thing all weekend with birthday an some other stuff so have not had any time to do much - gonna get into the swing of things this week but will do a hot-fix update to increase that to max heightmap for everyone to test an make sure its as high as possible right now ( should be uploaded soon as I post this ).


Derp Changelog:

• Terrain slider capped cleanly at 3,000
• Water increased to 4,000 ( heightmap is 4096 so this should suffice? )
• Lot's of back-end code cleanup.

Let me know if that setting is adequate enough so I can move on to adding more into it for the water fog/player collisions and some other things I've been working on, please.

thanks for reply, clears up a lot. would clipping into mountains making secret farms and driving merchants in water level below land be easy to catch by gm's? or are these actions that should remain on the old servers and to never be done in new server

I cannot guarntee what the GM's would do on the new servers, other then what they've been doing which is monitoring the sunkens manually by flying around in dev mode an watching. I would say go for it on old servers, I already have been doing it plentiful without anyone seeing & if you run into someone doing it, what can they really say to you other then 'hello' ?

@meng0204 no it's client side and the file size matched with the real ones. Only have to use the 5 and then 6 after game is completely loaded. If you are using derp. Just don't go flying around is all.
