for a game like Apex, DMA is unnecessary if you're not going extremely competitive. never used a DMA Apex cheat before and haven't got banned without it

this guy couldn't have said it any better. They're both DMA, however, as a previous comment stated, KVM is more of an IQ tax lol.

tl;dr, they're the same. However, if you're less tech savvy, I would recommend Hardware DMA (with a card), so you save the trouble of masking your KVM from detection, but you also have a wider range of public cheats available for DMA. With KVM, you'll most likely need to either a) make your own cheat, or if you don't have the skillset, b) paste someones from github

I saw some people use Ubuntu to cheat on game like apex and R6 but still DMA is the safest option if done correctly.
