You caught me Mr. ChatGPT. The app does wonders
Coming to your second questions, perhaps we should rename it as a raffle. As an incentive for the entrance fee, I’m giving away free days keys to entrants, so everyone gets something out of this.
This raffle is not meant for profits. We have more expenses than just the computer parts, such as dealing with taxes for the parts we’re buying, shipping cost of some parts, shipping the computer itself, as well as the insurance. Not to mention the labor that’s gonna go into building the PC. Oh and the 100 complimentary keys we’re giving out.
This is something a lot of our users have been asking for “a custom built and stripped CA computer”, so we decided it would be a good interactive activity within our community.
I launched this event with good means. Obviously a lot of people will overlook what we’re trying to do and focus on other stuff.. it happens. At the end of the day, I just hope the event will turn out good and the winner will bring home a top of the line gaming PC. I want this to be an occasional thing that we do, so our users will have something to look forward to.
Edit: Increasing the PC’s value to $3000, going to make necessary adjustments for the parts so it tallies upto $3000 before taxes and shipping.
