Does NCSoft Ip Ban or ban Account only

Hi!

Does NCSoft IP ban botters or do they just ban the account? Im not sure about this point pls.

Anyone got banned for botting and started again with same IP ?
Somenone knows?

i dont play the retail version
im sure they IP ban you
hackers, botting ect= permanent ban in most games...
except for Rakion, which is the only game i know of atm that doesnt ban you depending
if youre a power user ( pay them money) and you hack, you only get a few weeks ban
if you dont pay for cash items and you hack, you get a permanent ban

in conclusion for this game
dont bot or hack if you dont want 2 get a permanent IP ban

They can´t IP Ban. e.g. here in germany we get every 24 hours a new(!) IP.

If you get banned your account will be banned !!

in that case
people have different ISP and they work in slightly different ways
some peoples IP addresses dont change
for eg you turn your modem on a and off, your Ip address could now be different
the next day your Ip address might be different

if those dont work, then you have to manually change your Ip address by yourself

and what makes you so sure that they just ban your account and not your IP?
...no need to get agro

Sorry doesn´t meant to be aggro ;-)

I know somebody who got banned (used SZ). In his case the NC-Soft Master Account with all Games on it was banned (ge played Guild Wars too!)

After a few eMail to NCSoft they gave him the Master Account back, but the AION Account was deleted from the Master Account

thats terrible!!
what a waste of money!

but i guess it is slightly fair i mean when you click "i agree" to their terms and conditions, they have the right to do what they need to follow their rules and regulations if you have miss behaved ect.
