It is always possible, A good idea is that when GameGuard gets an update, stop using hacks/bots until it is verified to be safe again...most people don't have the patience for this, but it is important to make the choice whether your account is worth botting 2 extra days...Just something to think about.
Also GameGuard gets deactivated generally 2 days after release (longest was 2 weeks) i believe. Meaning you should never have to wait to long before you can completely wipe out gameguard and use anything again.
