wanna make your aion server original?

i see every where where people always say there server is top but who cares if its top or not. why not make it stick out draw in more people with things other servers dont have. any not add in custom content here and there or make a another team for custom content well you have your other teams fixing bugs.
i can valentear to make weapons and armor for any server whos interested.

as for as adding in wings, weapons, and armor would only need the item its self its texture and its valuse in the db as well as a way to obtain.

do you mean is it legal? **** no what party of a private server is? then again adding custom content is legal and moves the game farther from the original making it "more legal", but still illegal xD

in fact client modification is that step that moves private servers from "gray-zone" to "illegal".
There are several posts about that on this forum.

I agree, making client modifications is definitely not something you are interested in doing.
There are other ways to go around making custom content though.
Take for example my own server, where I have coded a Battleground system (and now NCSoft is copying me, hurr durr xD) and lots of other servers have figured out ways to make custom stuff that didn't involve changing anything client-side.

Not to mention, going down the road of custom armors and weapons will just bring on the demands from all the gear-thirsty kids (who wanted ABG above all while it was still 2.1 :P).
