The Radiant Ops vendor (Blood Crusade for asmodian, I believe) has Crikey Kitter Egg on sale at the cost of 0 radiant tokens. You can't purchase the kitten on its own. However, you can get it if you buy it in conjunction with another item. So to exploit, all you have to do is buy 1x Ancient Icon bag (costs only 1 token), and load up the shopping window with 39 of the kitties. Therefore, ensure you have 4 rows of inventory space. The daily vendor sell limit is 12.9m, I believe. Each batch of kittens sold this way will net you around 1.8m each round. So do 7 rounds to bring you up to around 12,8m a day.
Apparently, NC are aware of this, and it will be fixed in 2.6.
So you, as developer, make a mistake and people abuse that mistake (Kinah is good motivation). Would you really ban half your (paying!) user base over your own mistakes? No, of course you wouldn't, you'd kill the game and your own income. That's the definition of being a tard, lol.

I am sure that the ppl at ncsoft are pretty intelligent.
but Aion is a big project - so it can easily happen that there are exploits.
And sometimes it is not easy to find them immediatly
Pushing through updates in a massive project such as Aion can't be considered easy. Anyone running their own project will realize that updates can cause other problems, seemingly unrelated. That's why there should be a lot of QA by using testers (PTS) and only well tested releases.

"Earlier today we began to receive reports that a small number of players on the Azphel server had received over 30 trillion Kinah as part of a reward glitch. Since that time, we’ve brought down the Azphel server and have been working diligently to identify how to restore economic stability. We’ve made the decision to rollback the Azphel server data to 6:00am CST this morning and will continue to monitor all servers for related anomalies."
