i just realised that gold drops are saved on server along with the player id for temporary period if u know what i mean.. after like a few seconds the drops can be picked up by anyone! until those few seconds have passed nobody but u can pick up ur drops so i was wondering what if i do the same thing i did before which is change value of my gold drop and then wait a bit till the data is erased from the server and then try picking it up? that way maybe it will register on server cus server wont have any idea whose gold and how gold it was?

Hmmm. o.O'' what you meen with "Gold drops are saved on server?" Do you mean in DB it is a colum who hold ur current cash in bag / Storage then yes. thats correct, it holds.

Player ID/name/str/dex/cons/ess/wis Money in bag / Storage, lvl and exp. Hp/Ve

Band is on a own server, like a guild server, drop rate is in a .Ini file along with

Exp Rate. Drop Rate. Party share %, Damage by stats, all those def things 2. how the agro rates and stuff act like in 2moons i guess. but Agro is in monester.csv or what kind they use inside .XP i havent looked much at the client at all, only changed script to vn and thai to eng.. So if we could get the monster file, with rage dmg etc etc just client sided. we can make vac and no agro hack i guess like in 2moons, and other games, many other mmo`s 2. That would be nice for those who are Cs9 with Aoe. when 4-50mobs run around u like crazy or are frozen around u and cant attack, and they just follow. and just do Aoes like crazy with CK hyb debuffer in middle of it all. i will say Db 1 month lol.

no bro i mean.. u know when we kill something and we get drops, only we can pick those drops till a few seconds and nobody else can but after a few seconds everyone can pick up those drops.. basically they can steal our drops.. so am thinking maybe the server saves our drops (before we pick them) with the drop value and our id temporarily but erases that data after a few secs.. then everybody can pick up.. so i think the server stops keeping track of drops after a few secs (as long as they are on ground and havnt been picked up)

one easy step to find that out. make acc with HSS or some, and restart router/modem, then login with a nab acc and try, if u get banned u get saved i guess.. since servers cant IP ban like forums... is just to restart router or reset ip lol..

You can always test on Thai

Btw Gold drops are active so it changes all time. so i think this will be hard as heck to make, insted of trying mess up exp cards or something, to raise drop rate on exp cards :/ i dunno,

This is mostly accurate. Your client does not get sent the data for other players drops that are outside a certain radius. Each item drop has a unique ID, if you send the "pick up item" packet modified with that unique ID you can actually pick up items without even being able to see them. The problem is there are ~2 billion possible combinations for those unique IDs, so it is not realistic to iterate through a generated set of unique IDs in attempt to pick any item up on the map. Also, the results of picking up the item when it is out of range use to be intermittent and was mostly unreliable anyway. It was far better to capture the coordinates of the item along with its unique ID, teleport to those coordinates and pick up the item. Of course this does not work well for picking up any item on the current map since you won't know the coordinates. But it did work, I think an update fixed that one. On 9DVN I would setup a party with my 3 chars, one to kill, one to buff, and one that auto picks up all loot. This was great in areas where there were a dozen or so people botting. Of course, this was before we figured out how the VNs were duping.

I cannot remember if gold actually had a unique ID, because I do not recall needing one to pick it up. If I recall you just had to be within a tolerance range and send the correct gold amount along with the pick up packet. It was not possible to tell it to pick up your own specified amount of gold unless it was _really_ present on the ground and within range.

Also, I remember there were 2 packets sent for item drops. One identified the item ID (or type) and the coordinates. The second packet identified the player ID it belongs to, the coordinates, and the unique item ID. It has been a long time so I could be wrong or it has been changed since then.

Edit: Okay I checked, it was packets 0x76 and 0x90

Ok i dint read all that Saweet, but, but i dont 9d have logs on gold drops, just the normal DB index that tells how much you holds in ur bag and storeage. but i also think its not even worth try mess with the GOLD drops. i also dont think if u gonna find the index/thingy that Holds you monster/boss have an active value that changes each time and for each monster, like Fox 10134, Wolf, 23945 and when u target other fox it might be like 24786, IS NOT CORRECT INDEX / VALUE, is just to get a point here, since everytime you chose/kill a monster its also diffrent gold/item drop... and also tons diffrent values, as saweet sayd, i think.. i just power readed trough it since i jus woke up

Hence its more useful to get to the archives, where the info of all mobs is stored - and modify that!
It depends on 9D's protection, but seeing it's all crappy old 2003-2005 protection it could be that one can change the %dmg a certain cheng of a skill does/alter requirements for anything (like a relic, taking up 0 back slots instead of 1, making you able to hold unlimited of them)

If you change the skill damage or raise damage each lvl %, Etc at server then you need restart + you change whole damage for all.. if you change char stuff in DB it updates each 0.1Ms - what ever u want it do be, if im not wrong.. Dekaron server we needed restart on server related stuff, but not on acc info`s etc, just needed relog / or 2 be logged out, who knows? no1 have ever been inside the 9d DB that exist here

If you're interested, watch this:
HaRepacker is a repacker as the name says, and one would such a repacker OR the library format to make changes..

This kind of game-hacking is like common stuff back in the 90's where there was no such thing as Massive Multiplayer Online. But as CheatEngine got released, ppls started to memory hack, and pretty much sticked to it, which is fine - until you face something like 9D, where they've implemented various 'protections' against it. Way less protection is used on their data files i BET!

EG dekaron Pserver. try unpack it. and you FACE HUGE!! Problems. and thats Pserver guys who made protection. now indy or others who have protected it for indy.

You extract it and 90% of files miss tons offsets ETC and you need to custom make them or steal from other clients. i makes everything not valid : p

Dekaron looks like cabal to me :3
But it has indeed more in common with 9D as that Maplestory does with 9D..

Anyway, the bold'ed part, doesnt make much sense to me. After all: Microsoft did protect their Office/OS'es too, and they're cracked. ~If it's running it can be cracked~ and I don't think that files are missing, after all we're talking about library files, not PE-files (executables).

Someone who's familiar with unpacking packed files - maybe request on tuts4you, although I don't know if they are into general file unpacking (they're more into PE i.e. *.exe and *.dll unpacking. But u might look around at the epvp members who're into this.. there are a few)
On a side note: I'm just thinking here, don't got time (and perhaps skills) to do much since school/sc2 is keeping me busy atm. So u'r basically helping the community + urself here

The program is called "Gold Digger" author: DJINIUS. I tied to search that around but i found nothing, the seller has just a positive feed that says it works, it costs 49$. It should be possible if an expert hacker reads, edits and sends packets to the server. mhh what do u think?
