If you want to change a single value somewhere, then just try to find it in the nodes. If you want to create some new quests, don't even bother. Even if you manage to do a new quest, you will come back here and ask for another guide how to translate it - as the tool won't allow you to extract strings easily.
As Adek mentioned, don’t bother with the tool... you won’t be able to modify or remap the XQS (string) file. The tool is mainly useful for changing quest level requirements. If you dive deeper into it, you’ll find that you can perform a lot of actions, but understanding the node connections and the old if/else logic they used is a real challenge.
It took me about a week to develop the RTK quests for choosing your clan(including the Google image translate bullshit)
P.S never change a quest name or text inside, learned that the hard way.
P.S2 get the korean windows language pack, but make sure you have a 2nd pc otherwise your VisualEffectTool wont work anymore.

I actually bothered to look at XSD editor's import options, if you intersect the ndtext_us with vn one it will help translate faster

How to compile ALL quest in the folder "quest" without the files list in the file "locale_list"?
Easy!
Open the file "make" and replace the content of the file with this:
for f in *.quest; do ./qc $f; done
Oki. Now set the 0777 permission to the file.
Finally open a SSH client and sign in. Write the command:
cd /game_file_folder
