You guys should stop confusing privates with AAA games.

I've mentioned several times, this is a private server, developed by me as a hobby and my life doesn't revolve around this game, if you wanna try the server when it's out, awesome, if not, awesome.

Nu ma pricep in servere,TCP/IP, sql , dar am facut server offline de 9D, sql basic, putin game dev prin unity C#, unreal, scris renderer opengl C++, putin python, si asa ma plictisesc cu carantina pulii... lucrez pana la 4-5 dupa nam ce face, probabil se inchide tara de marti, daca ai ceva de facut, test server, modelat 3d, sunete, editat texturi, sortat /editat scripturi manual, fac eu voluntariat 1-2 ore pe zi, poate mai mult in weekend, nu vreau bani nimic, poate doar cateva coins dupa lansare server.

If all you have to talk about is the delay, of course you would be banned from discord, it annoys the rest and seems like cheap propaganda.

I only asked for information about the server because on the 23rd it was 4 days before the server was launched and we had no information about it or a website, and I said that the server was not launched because of the 3 developers 2 are playing fortnite and the another one here on the forum making excuses for why the server was not launched, Jamie is a bad and unprofessional moderator, reminds me of eclipse

If you really love the game and if you are already putting effort into it, don't you think it should worth your time? I think everyone should take a deep breath, we all want the same exact thing, don't blame someone because of a delay, it feels bad I get it but he is making it for you guys too.

Let me answer this as a person who has "been there, done that". Let's begin with "why does it even happen, that developer is bored with the project". It doesn't take long to set up the server - just download the files, prepare the database, get some networking done and voila - "server" is running. That's all there is to it; basic configuration takes no longer than a few hours. That is, if you want to release another generic server, another G1/GC clone.

Some of the other stuff you have to consider (that list is far from being complete):

• server concept,
• resources/collectibles/crafts,
• security,
• new features,
• gifts,
• new content.

Don't forget these files are quite old. All of the private servers are based on 8-year-old leaked stuff, and that doesn't make it any easier. A lot of features are missing, can't connect with any newer client without hardcore tampering, etc.

Long story short - it's tiresome and I can see why there is a lot of boredom in server development. We (server developers) spend tons of hours on features - and trust me, eventually, you will find yourself at your wits' end. It doesn't mean that we don't love the game, but it's something we can't avoid, sooner or later.

Not at all, I'm dedicated to the server, but if you think my living expenses come out of this project you're mistaken.

If you think that this project requires 30 minutes/day, you are also mistaken.

My attitude is fair and honest, would you prefer bullshit coming your way at light speed about how quick it will come out, how good it will be, all that with a dev that has to sleep and mind a lot of other projects (not gaming related)?

So that would be 1x (which will still be way higher than any official) and like +50% / 2x during weekends.
