As for security, it was the client that offered the security to protect such files as vr_environment and scr_base. Lets not forget, Protecting ones visual effects in visualeffect.xes. Also the rendering methods on the .xrs files.

This is what has been done to the new client i am releasing:-

1..Any file in the 9dragons install folder and its sub folders can now be encrypted using a .py script, which takes a list of files, with their subpaths from an input file and encrypts the data, which then is stored in another file.
The ninedragons.exe will then know which files to decrypt before loading to memory.

2..The launcher no longer reads from ND1 folder from the server IP address, to check for client version which ofc data is allocated in the ndreg.xrg file.Ofc the ndreg.xrg file is encrypted as well.

so even if you download and install the client, then overwrite the ndlauncher and ninedragon.exe it will fail to even read the server version number from the non existant folder.

You said people cant abuse scr_base on your server anymore ,2 days later new scr abuse appeared and you had no clue about it for 2 fking months. Just stop with this Bs, Its pathetic already. Not really. I am just lazy with context and grammer. So used to using the cell phone. But ofc, there is always some wise spark trying to pick up on any fault. seems you spend more time trying to ridicule posts, than looking at the broader picture.

once in a while i have lost my cool with certain people. Those who try and fool me in game, by wasting my time on saying they lost items, but in reality they shared accounts. ofc i get frustrated, spending countless hours, checking logs to find issues reported. A high percentage of claims were bullshit. Can you blame me for that. If you relate to me calling people dumb and azzholes. That was not on a regular occurance. Perhaps you should count the posts on these threads, calling me names. I dont care what people say, the fact is the name callers are digging a hole for themselves.I want them to carry on. The broader spectum of the 9d community are not European overall. I have a mass of VN, and others seeing these threads and are appalled at what they see. They are all coming to Eclipse since alot of the VN servers are closing.

Ok, 1st of all, it doesn't matter if it is 'a regular occurance' or not. It's still a pretty shyty thing to do. So, yeah, I can blame you for that. Besides, you know pretty well I wasn't referring to those times where people made you check logs for nothing (even if that was the only case, it still wouldn't give you the right to insult people behind their backs). I was talking about the moments where you did that just because you thought there was no one listening and you insult people and push them away, even when those people were trying to help you.

I agree with you.Of course there are areas i do not know about. Are you telling me you know everything? I admit improvements in my knowledge are required. Do you also admit there are areas in 9d you need to understand?

The fact is there is improvement required from everyones personal knowledge. I for 1 can admit that and am not afraid to say so. But can your ego admit it also.

As for keeping the server populated. Regardless of head count. People come and go . Starting from elysium onwards. I still stuck by through thick and thin to give people an option to play.

If it was dead i would pull the plug. So you can make your own judgement on that. lets see how long you last running a server.

Just saying. I will count the days of your success on release.
