Beside criticize?
As it goes for me:

• massive amount of tutorials - not only on ePvP
• helping other players
• worked with translation project (we gave up on that though)
• played almost all servers, discovering new content
• discovered, how to create new skills & items
• that would look bad, but I was the mastermind behind the PA's hardcore server - still some players liked that (after bug fixes though) - still making SCM run with no eq with 5 guys about EC'ish was so awesome that you can't even believe
• actually writing upgraded dev tools (PA exclusive so far) that's gonna extends the current dev's to make patches faster to prepare
• still learning. That's the best I can do for 9D's community - somebody need to find new stuff, and not only crying out loud

What did you do for 9D so far?

Oh, also, PA is finished project. The project we left to Bogdy - he's the one, who can do even more with those files. We did our job there, so it's time for him to show-off. It's not like I gave up completely on 9D's server files. I'll find someday something even more awesome. And mark my words - the best is just coming.

But, you know, finished doesn't mean it's gonna end. Nope. It's completely the opposite. It's in the best place to start work with. It's just the beginning, and Phase 3 is starting. No more hardcore server like it supposed to be. It's this kind of server that any PvP or PvE player would like.

Except those, that can't play and just want cap level, +17 HG wep, clothes and everything.

Sad I can't really afford machine to test my stuff already, my local is quite too weak to make local & client to work, with VS & debugging tools active.

Phase 3 is starting. No more hardcore server like it supposed to be. It's this kind of server that any PvP or PvE player would like

I would have rather preferred the hardcore server. Instead it seems to be going the same way as usual with solo play.

9d unfortunately fails both as a PVE and PVP game. Its not really PVE when u can grind solo at 100% hp. Solo all dungeons.

Its not PVP with the promised balance still coming, only one PVP map available at end game. At which point PVP becomes even more gear dependant.

I came here expecting an open world PvP server with P2W removed and more balance and new content and as of now am disappointed on all fronts. Even with item mall and imbalance Asura was more enjoyable as there was no need to reach end game to enjoy game. You could just stop your char at GB and pk in nc . I really dont understand how is it possible to grief somone with so many different places to grind at for each level. And you can just put on speed gear and outrun the higher levels. There is no speed restriction/ advantage based on level. Especially on a server with such a high xp rate and full day events Noone can really stop you from levelling.

Going Phase 3 doesn't mean that PA will copy the Ely/9DPK content. 1 PvP map (Tibet) is enough for now, especially that CC has higher exp and PK available. There is a revamp going in few weeks as well, so we can't tell already it's going to be 'easy' server. Actually, current phase look easy 'cause of CC3 npc stuff, that's prepared for Ph3 already.

Nobody wanted to play hardcore server, except maybe 5 people. That was sad. Bad you missed Test/Ph1 SCM run on 5x EC chars.

I definitely see your point. I for myself would also rather prefer a hardcore server where you enjoy every facet of the game from the beginning on.Where you don't need OP stuff to be able to enjoy it.
Where you enjoy also playing at low level stage and the lower dungeons. Where you depend on friends doing the dungeons and grinding(Party Quests) and where PvP starts a lot earlier (imo best map to start pvp is liadong where black meets white).

However after launching Phase I which exactly had that kind of a concept and after puting insane work into it we had to realize that the majority doesn't enjoy that kind of a game. All the work we put into balancing and revamping lower content was for nothing. And an empty server is useless even if it has the best concept. So we had to chose a concept inbetween.
We still detest the "Giving insane items/insane rates" style which only works in the short term. That's why compared to other privates we have less OP gifts and a little lower xp. But it still isn't that low to be considered hardcore.
We have to chose a concept which works and keeps the server alive.
And people who join privates simply don't want hardcore gameplay.

Since, you mentioned the cc3 stuff you need to revamp the cs gl sets. Noone is going to spend 30+hrs running gcm srs to get **** when you can get better gear for 20mill in cc3.
