9Dragons copyrights

Hi , i have a dilema regarding 9dragons copyrights . Are they valable only for one sort of server files ? (like USA / Korea / Vietnam ) Is it worldwide ? Me and a team are currently working on a project that involves a private 9Dragons server , financial there wouldn't be ANY problems ... so if you guys have details about the copyrights or where to buy them from ... Or whatever Play9D did to evade the copyrights is welcomed ...BTW if Play9D sees this , maybe i would make him a good offer for his server

if you know what i mean. I will make another thread with details about the server in the most apropiate time . Any help from members that want to help creating the server is welcomed and will be rewarded ! So i wait for your oppinions/sugestions and info ! Have a nice day !

You can't buy copyrights...
I only know that Play9D changed their domain to .to because FBI (or whatever) don't have rights to investigate .to sites...
They obviously got rid of some trademarks, replaced any link that points to official 9D sites...
P.S: I kinda stopped believing that someone else will open another PS for USA/EU besides Play9D...
Just a question, which server files do you have? RU/DE/KR/ GC USA (Don't think so) or VN ? Just curious...

Keep going with your project, I'm waiting for another 9Dragons server.

I heard few years ago the licence costs about $1mln or so. But I'm almost sure it was fake.

but you still can call Indy or other company related to 9D (I don't know, I don't care who will you call to).

Joongwon.That's how it's called, but I'm sure that they won't sell the publishing rights to someone else besides GC (and the contract with GC doesn't allow them to sell the publishing rights over EU/NA for anyone else except GC )

Thank you very much for your replies , these days i was busy wandering around and asking about copyright and laws. Apparently there is a way to make it without paying any copyrights ... The project will start as soon as we have a complete team , we need a graphic designer to work in visual basic

It's a lot of work cause we gotta do some changes and a better security system . This project will be a long shot , please understand it's a lot of work , and we are only 3 people with daily jobs ! About the server files ... it's GC server files

(an older version , before clothes refinement system)

Probably these ones, because he's not talking anything about Icy dungeon. Weren't there any bigger patches before A/D & cloth refine?

Nope , those files are unstable and does not have a proper security system. We have the basic files, rest will be created ... Currently we are looking for more people to work with us, we already interviewed some people. Should be like 2 weeks from now until we hire a complete team !

as far as i know 9Dragons license cost $200,000 per year with 35% profit per month ... at 2008 . Now may be $500,000 ~ $800,000 per year with ***% profit per month . To open online game company u need to have knowledge with degrees , a datacenter (Internet provider) and a company with supports required ...
