How do people start a private server??

Me and my friends havent played 4story in years because we left after some disappointing updates. I was talking with some of my friends and we just discussed how fun it would be to have a personal server.A private server for like just two to four friends playing, not making a public private server. So someone how knows can answer on how do things work?
You buy the files and then what do you do,what do you need...

We wanna use the old patch before gor is that it?

u can download 3.5 source and delete gor system =)

and you really think that someone with 0 knowledge can do anything in the 4s source? please think before you write....
its not allowed to share server files on epvp.. if you want 3.3 source (before gor) write me a message on skype or facebook.

3.3 sounds just like what we would like to spend our time on playing.
Just please if you know tell me after that what exactly happens after I get those files to create a server only for myself and 1-2 other people? It would be stupid to buy something if I cant do anything with it

You can use hamachi to host the server for free
