i guess this was the big update that they announced last december.. they just delayed it for another year because they wanted to get a few more donations

I begin to think about alternatives that could happen next.
ZEMI just closed their server, but Gameforge4D is still under their contract.
The chance is low, but it's by far not impossible that ZEMI will add some finished pieces of the last patch.

They announced the "big patch" in the summer of last year, so this means at this time there was already some finished work, otherwise there wouldn't have been an announcement like this. Now another year is gone, there was more than enough time to do something. Also I think GF won't simply stop their "work".

And to be honest, it's quite sad that ZEMI closed their server. Just think about it that they are the reason why this game exist & they were our last hope for some new big things (as I explained, it's still not impossible).

However, I wonder why some people act such surprised. The biggest sign were the free upgrade things/items and the delayed patch which would break every company into pieces.

Summarized, this announcement is a very very bad and sad thing, nothing to laugh about. The respect to the original developers should be always a thing.
