Well its quite simple. You just change the strings of your accoutname and charname and the server loads the character that you changed it to. The hex is not necessary all of the time. But sometimes when you change your name you have to clean it up. What I mean is, when you change your name to theirs it leaves some letters from your original name in the string.
Just do this to make sure your name is fully changed to theirs: After you changed your name, go back in-game and hit "C" to bring up the character sheet(the page with your stats and shit). Look at your name. Make sure it is 100% the character name you changed to. If so then use a portal and the server will load you into their character.
For example:
Your original name was: Leeroy
Your targets name is: 8Ball
Sometimes when you change your name from Leeroy to 8ball it will show up like this: 8BallLeer <--- you see how some of the letters of your original name are still there?
So now when you go through the portal the server reads that the character name does not exist and DCs you.
To clean this up you don't even need to use the HEX view.
In cheatengine just change your name back to your original name again. Then change it to the targets name again. This should clean it up. That worked for me when I
"tested" this out and had trouble.

I also want to clarify, I only used this on 2 people to test this was working. I thought this thread was a fucking joke when I first read it, because frankly I cannot believe this actually works.
