The brandnew mode Obliteration was demonstrated on the premiere-celebrating map Paracel Storm. EA's team seems to have made up their minds about an entertaining variation of already existing and from other concurrents of its franchise known game mod "Capture the Flag" and "Seek and Destroy". Two teams match up against each other and get at the beginning of each game three areas, that are targets for bomb detonations. Aside from this, it will be possible to find an explosive device on the map when the game starts, that has to be planted in one of the enemy areas. The team that blows up all three areas or bombing points of the enemies wins. This game mode will possibly have a maximum cap of around 32 gamers on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - a maximum of 24 is planned for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC-gamers can be looking forward to bomb-outs with a higher number of comrades.
Paracel Storm is an island group, which is situated in South China Sea. This environment makes place for many different vehicles and offers another feature: Levolution. During the game process, there will be drastic changes of the weather - consequently leading to storm disasters on land and sea. Waves will form an obstacle and also the visibility will suffer a lot. At gamescom, it will be possible to test this mode and to get an idea of it. Those who would already like to have a look at the map are free to do so:
By paying 50€ more, one gets access to more content and therewith has the chance to play Battlefield 4 with its full potential - the premium membership brings along quite some things. "Conquest" will serve as one of the oldest and most popular game mods, where everything is about capturing and keeping flags.
