This year's E3 in Los Angeles slowly comes to an end. Nintendo also presented their precious treasures yesterday - HD-Zelda for Wii U and Super Mario 3D are amongst them. Until then, there haven't really been surprising announcements, but on the other hand Nintendo revives the one or other title. You can find trailers of the probably most important games below.
The first ground of Nintendo's presentation was structured in "
Pokémon X and Y". Their trailer promises not only new monsters and 3D graphic style, but also a new feature called "PokeMonAmi". We are now able to stroke and feed our Pokemon (Nintendogs sends its greetings). The editions of 6th generation are going to be released on October 12 worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS.
Next up, the long-awaited "
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD", which is also appointed in October and for the Wii U, has been presented as well. In an interview it was said, that they are focusing on graphics above all. Thus, improved shadows and breathtaking HD graphics could be expected.
Their newest title of Mario Kart series - "
Mario Kart 8" - is going to be released in Spring 2014 for Wii U. The concept of gravity seems to vanish at all, as it's possible to overcome the force of gravity and in this way to drive on walls, ceilings or slopes at several course sections. Furthermore, a multiplayer mode has been promised.
After that followed a trailer of jump'n run "
Super Mario 3D World", which continues the gameplay style of "Super Mario 3D Land", available for 3DS - with multiplayer mode! There we will be able to jump all around the world with up to 4 friends. Each playable character has its own abilities. This game is going to be published at the end of year 2013.
An absolutely unknown and never before seen title is named "
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze", whose fancy graphics can only be experienced on Wii U - who would have thought that - in November.
Last but not least comes the highlight, which was eagerly-awaited by most gamers:
Super Smash Bros.! The year of release is going to be 2014 - playable on Wii U and 3DS.
As we can see, Nintendo takes no risks or experiments. Presented games for the Wii U include ones published by Ubisoft (Watchdogs, Assassins Creed IV, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell Blacklist) and Warner (Scribblenauts, Batman Arkham Origins) adding several titles created by Square Enix (Deus Ex), Activision (Skylanders), Sega (Sonic Lost World) and Disney (Monster AG). Other famous publishers as Take 2 Interactive, Electronic Arts, Konami, Bethesda, and Namco Bandai haven't been mentioned and seemed to say goodbye to Wii U. This is going to be some hard work for Nintendo.
