Hello fellow elitepvpers. We've won the fight against ACTA, but a group of republican senators are ready to unveil their newest anti piracy act. Secure it - The Strengthening and Enhancing Cybersecurity by Using Research, Education, Information, and Technology Act, should be a tool for businesses and the government to secure their intellectual property.
Sponsored by Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), and John McCain (R-Arizona).
This is an alternative to the bill S.2105 that should increase file sharing while decreasing criminal activities. Based on previous experience, The Department of Homeland Security will develop a system of requirements for risk-based websites.
Personally, I have very little knowledge of how this would even work, but be sure that we'll keep you updated on the matter and provide extra information when it is available. Feel free to discuss on this matter.
Thank you for your time,
