MegaForge offers a Wrath of the Lich King experience tailored for players who wish to bypass the traditional LFG grind and focus on gameplay.
The server makes it easy to explore dungeons and raids, with content that scales differently for each class and group size, and bringing your alts to life to support you on your journey. You can take on challenges on your terms - with any crew, across factions, in a world that lets you team up or compete with every player you meet.
This is not some strange custom mashup that changes the core gameplay, items, mechanics, or adds new spells.
You can expect a Wrath of the Lich King experience with features that make instanced content playable with fewer players or solo, plus extra quality of life improvements that enhance the game without pulling it away from its original design. Most features are additive and optional, rather than replacements for the base game.
Of the several ways to enjoy solo play or content with fewer players, we especially recommend our follower system (or alt bots). This approach feels the closest to original group gameplay, with roles that complement each other and allow you to handle mechanics naturally, without scaling down boss or trash stats.
If you prefer to play completely alone, that is also possible. In that case, instances scale down proportionally based on your class. Solo mode also grants a set of standard group buffs depending on your level and class, simulating a normal group buff environment without requiring you to actually be in one.
To preserve the feeling of accomplishment and keep content from becoming obsolete, progression at higher levels and in endgame instances requires much more effort and skill, especially in raids. You will likely need either a group of followers or to combine your team with another player's team.
The server is fully playable for free. Although we do have a shop, donations are optional, and full functionality is available without ever donating.
CLASS-BASED SOLO MODE
Every class has its own solo dungeon scaling. Characters receive a set of standard group buffs tailored to their level and class. Solo players can instantly enter dungeons through the Dungeon Finder.
ALT FOLLOWERS
You can add your alt characters from the same account to your party as autonomous followers with advanced combat behavior, supporting you during questing and dungeons.
CROSS-FACTION GAMEPLAY
You can interact with the opposite faction, form groups, guilds, and arena teams, communicate in channels, trade, and more.
CHALLENGE MODES
Optional Hardcore and Semi-Hardcore challenge modes with PvP protections, coexisting in the same world as normal players. Includes Mak'gora (duel to the death for normal characters).
