Hmmm, hab die character db gelöscht und nochmal neu gebatcht (inkl. updates natürlich), aber die verbindung wird immernoch unterbrochen sobald ich einen char erstellen will =/

Hmmm gib mir mal ein screenshot bzw video wie du einen char erstellt, wie dein server läd (also wenn du den server anmachst) und der db in sqlyog dann müsste ich den fehler finden

Yea I am having a problem with Step 4.0.0 with the password to connect to the MySQL keeps saying Error: 1045 using password, I do not know what the password is, I need the password to connect to root@localhost it says, I have tried 'ascent' 'ASCENT' 'Ascent' but none worked, can you tell me the password?

This is also my first private wow server that I hope to succeed making, because this is the most helpful and easiest guide I found so far. Soon I would like to know how to add admins and how to get it out to th public.

sounds like you didnt do step 3.0.0 - Setting up XAMPP correctly or it isnt running, because you need mysql to run or you cant connect to the db ^^ sqlyog is not the db your database is in xampp sqlyog just lets you connect to it and edit/add things...

@Baltaza - ich erkenne gerade keine probleme, allerdings glaub ich weis wo das problem liegt, du hast nicht in deine configs die passwörter gleich gemacht oder

die beiden sachen müssen gleich sein... die beste idee wäre natürlich alles passwörter die überall sind zu einen machen.. dann müste es keine probleme geben.

Never mind I did figure it out when I retraced my steps remembering I set it up, it works now, but there is something else at the delete and copy stuff from Moon++ to Ascent (Step 5.1.0) I did that but the next step requires me to open scripts2008? I only have 2003.
I do not have scripts 2005 or 2008 is that a problem or could I just use 2003?
Can I just use that but it wont be up to date?
Or where can I get 2005 and 2008? I tried re-extracting but it did not work.

Hmm, im on number 5.00 i compiled it i got 4 Suceeded and 3 Failed how can i get all 7 Success also i went on ahead to 5.1 and found out that when i del and pasted and ran the build i had all 7 failed, where did i fck up..? pls tell me

Btw how did you get the folder thing that is to the right of the "Win32" drop down menu, mine is "Only" in your image it is "Race" i try to change to "Race" i cant -_-

Also someone do me a favour, im missing a file libmySQL.dll can someone upload it to here? thank you it is in C:\AscentSOURCE\Ascent\dep\lib32
