Exploit the Gatherer Mod

The Gatherer Mod is a very powerful tool for people who have gather professions such as Herbalism or Mining. It can also be used to find Chests.


The way it works, is as soon as you discover a "node" It marks it for you, so you can view it later, and always know where "nodes" should appear.

I have tested this a few times, and so far, I?m 99% positive that ALL servers have the same node spawn, meaning, using someone else?s Gatherer info, will mark nodes on your server.


First things first.

Now, to copy someone else?s files, you'll need to have access to there computer, or have them send the files you need to you.


The files are located in the WoW folder here:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT NAME\SavedVariables
(Default loc, if you saved WoW to a different location, then look for it there. Replace Account name with the name you log into the game with.)

This file, also needs to be copied:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Gatherer

You do know there's a mod out called gatherershare made by the same creators correct? I have practically every node of anything ever spawned lol.
