yup, both addons are enabled. Rested XP loads and I can see the starter zone guides, but none of the others.

Did you even check that you installed it fully with 7zip and deleted the old saved variables? Seeing the old one are for cata.

edit: i found the cvars, deleted them and installed the newest update and its working. thank you again

what had me super cofuse too is it was working for some of my alts but it wasnt working on my main. my alts could open guides but my man had nothing available. no idea how that happened

You fully delete the software fully delete the settings.
Updating an add-on with a big update like this.
You fully delete the addon
You fully delete the saved variables

But for some reason, people delete the addon.
Then leave the savedvariables behind.

That you don’t know about the savedvariables.
So why don’t they ask.
When mentioned, why don’t they search for it?

But when it comes to add-ons that have imports like weak auras. Then people just keep their saved variables. Because the settings are compatible with all the updates

I got it working. Was almost certain a weird extraction issue. Despite using 7zip.

I gave up, and tried it on another computer (also using 7zip) and it worked. I then transferred the extracted files across the network to my main PC and it continued to work.

Thank you for checking things with me, even just asking if I've tried the basics reassured me that something wasn't right, which made me try a strange solution.

As I said before, if 1 person added 1 quest to the guides and shared it and every person that wants it did it.
