hi
i copyed the lua files from RXP Leveling.rar\RXP Leveling\Classic\ into the cata addon folder but cant see the guides ingame
did i do something wrong or missed something here?

I tell people just to extract the folder to the add-ons directory.

People choose not to do that then come back and post that it doesn’t work.

You have now put in the Lewis files from the folder into the add-ons directory and I did not say to do that.

All people need to do is to extract the folder to the directory, but people are not doing that. How can extract a folder to a directory be so complicated?

tryed it now with new installation and how u sayd with the full folder but still not working not sure what i did wrong
while downloading it also warned me to be a virus
last time it worked idk but thx for your reply

Why does it show as a virus? I guess you are using windows defender and nothing else. Seeing windows defender keeps on flagging multiple .rar files as a virus when they are not.

Well seeing you did not install it right the first time. Doing it right the 2nd time it would not work.

So you have to start from the beginning.
Now you have to delete the addon
Delete the saved variables for the addon
Extract with 7zip. Seeing I keep on saying windows extractor does not work. But people keep on using it and then complain it does not work.
Then put the folder in the addons directory.

All people do is
Extract the addon in the addons directory
Extract the leveling guides to the addons directory.

When people say it does not work, did not follow those 2 steps.

Well, since you choose not to say how you installed the add-on, I don’t know.

Seeing most people use curseforge Wowup updaters

Well, I go to cash was money. Download it every single time.

Just let people don’t update their software either. So people could be extracting with 7zip but they have not updated it. Then people expect distract a new file with old software.

When all people have to do is install the adult on a curseforge
Download the leveling guide extract with thelatest 7zip or winrar to the Addons folder.

But people don’t want to follow those steps and complain that it doesn’t work.

Install via curseforge
Download leveling guide
Extract add-ons

That’s all that people need to do

tried 7zip, winrar, deleting variables in wtf folder
did this for vanilla version in the past it worked
no idea what is wrong in the cata version

the ingame feature with string importing does not work with this version?

Well I do not know when you downloaded it because you do not say.

People said that when they used the old one.
When I ask, did you download the recent file? They said no. So the old one did not work.

Can also say the Cata guides for Rested aren't working for me. Have been using this for a year or so but it looks like they changed the way the guides folders are set up. Extracted to the guides folder but only able to see the guides up to 26 (Duskwood) in game. (EDIT) Just also checked for SOD and can only see up to 20 for the guides there as well. Let me know what info I can give! Also, thank you for all you do. You have been amazing for my time playing and these guides - happy to help troubleshoot

Well my new file has not been out that long and people keep on installing to the wrong location when I say where to install it.

Well I never said I am importing strings. The file is a plugin not strings.

idk why, but the latest zygor classic guide is marked as virus, 99% sure that is a false positive.
