Can we just ditch the spyware updater and go back to letting us update manually? It's pretty retarded to update the updater to update the addon. The updater was a solution to a problem no one had.

First thing. You don't have to use the updater. The addons download links still are in the first post so you can still download the addons manually.

Second. Do you even know what a spyware is? The updater I made gathers no information at all about you, or your PC... It only fetches the addon download links I have stored in a file in the cloud (for easy access for me so I can quickly update the link). Then it downloads the chosen addon, deletes the addon folder in your WoW directory, and extracts the addon again. It does not look for stuff outside the WoW directory, nor does it look inside any other folder than the Interface/AddOns folder within the WoW directory. Everything my updater does is with a purpose solely for installing/updating the Zygor addon in a quick and easier manner. It doesn't gather any information.

Third. Thanks for reporting the error. The download link has been updated for the updater.

Thanks for reporting the error. I have updated the download links that the updater uses. You should be able to install/update the addons now :-)

Btw I suggest using the latest v2.5 updater version, as it has better errors when this happens. It'll suggest you to download the addon manually if you don't want to wait for the updater to have its download links updated :-)

Looking at his twitch, he may have a link to something with !ui - can only use it while he's streaming tho. Checking his profile he doesn't have a link to any of it, nor does he have it in his github

Thanks for the updater. The grief is definitely undeserved, and completely null given the old fashioned download links and manual update is still intact.

I do not play Wrath, but I use max dps for Retail. But I did check and cannot find one yet.

Zygor getting DF pre-patch update? I noticed it updated about 10 days ago, but the version uploaded (and provided by updater) doesn't seem to work.

What are you even talking about? The latest release of zygor guides for retail is 8.1.27896 which is what is uploaded in the OP as well as of a day ago.

The new version (8.1.27896) seems to be working fine. The Zygorguidesviewer.lua file does not grow to several gigs as it used to. At least it didn't yesterday in spite of logging in and out with several chars.

There is no guide for 1-60 retail.
They plan to for DF. But I do not have that yet.
