What has happened with the "RestedXP" WoTLK link? It only shows vanilla classic now? Did they somehow change the addon to not be shareable anymore, or?

Yea what happened right

Seems people only want to complain about when they get something for free.
The only post they make is complaining it does not work. When it works for everyone else.
They cause the problem and the issues. But then blame and put down the file that was made that was free to them. But in all the times they downloaded it, they said nothing. No gratitude, no thanks no nothing.
But when it does not work, because they cause the problem, they come and complain.
When they do actually install it right and then it does work. They are never seen again.

Maybe extract it and install it right and then it would work.
Seeing nearly all that complain. They are the one that caused the problem.

That is nuts, downloaded restedxp every time a new update came out, worked every single time. What is wrong with people? They seriously cannot install an addon?

So this is what it says

Zygór Classic, Wrath and Retail

Then under that, it clearly states "Private servers"

So why did you did you avoid where it says Wrath.
Then install one for a "Private servers" from 10 years ago.

Then wonder why the wrong one that you know is wrong did not work.
It clearly says what it is and you still downloaded the wrong one.

The only issues I experienced were, when extracting from Winrar directly into the addon folder both Zy and R classic gettin stuck at 99%.

R was some lua and Zy I can't recall since I didn't take notes and it's been a week.

The solution was to extract it to desktop/mainscreen and then move it to the designated folder.

I assumed it was the fault on my side because the rar file downloads on a HDD and extracting to a SSD and one of them might die and causing the issue.

That sounds like permission access to extract to a directory.
That is why I extract tot he desktop first and copy the folder in.

It's wild that people are so inept they can't drag and drop a file into a folder. Thanks for putting up with idiots for so long.

For anyone that wants to at least update the core of RXP guides, you can still do so as long as you don't overwrite the "Guides" sub-directory.

I don't believe people who get the add on to work don't come back here. I've had to come back multiple times to get an updated version because something isn't working properly. Also not sure how else you want users to thank you, is the thanks button not enough?

Ah, that sucks :\ Sad that a few people destroy for the majority. Got to admit, I've used your link I think since TBC sometime, but just never bothered to thank or write anything in the replies, as everything worked right out the box :P

But anyways, thanks for keeping it free for as long as you did. Appreciated ^_^

Ok first off, there are people that do neither. That is their problem and not mine. No loss for me.

My issue is, people rant, rave, attack and claim the file does not work.
When it worked for everyone else.
When they caused the problem. They chose the wrong file. They chose not o say what the issue is. They chose not to go to the right link. They chose not to extract it right. They chose not even to enable it ingame.

But then, their only posts are complaining it does not work, because they purposely made it not work. Then they claim they are blind and stupid. Well at least they admit to something they do right.

Instead of saying, did I do something wrong.
They blame the file.
When they are proven, they chose to do something wrong and then did it the right way. They should have in the first place.

Then they got nothing to say.

Long story short. People blaming others for what they caused themselves.
