Well they can keep the account, I just need the file to check, clean and release. As cannot risk an account share.

Do you need to modify the restedxp guides if you use it from a friend? Since I got a file from my friend (he bought a guide), but this file is not working for me. So the guide does not appear in the ingame guide selection.

I pasted the bought files from my friend into the guide folder and overrode one file.

But ingame I cannot see the pasted in guides...

I would say they go in RXPGuides\Guides

So I would download the addon then past the new ones in to RXPGuides\Guides

Did it work for them? Can they not just send you the full addon, so you can use it?

Yes it works for him, but not for me, that is why I wanted to know if there is some kind of tracking, that it will only work on the pc where it was downloaded from their website?

Ok sure. Use a file host, upload it and paste a link.

If there is any tracking in the file and you have not checked and they find out. Oh well.
