I want to describe an easy method to get gold in World of Warcraft, if
you invest some time (not much!) and watch the market in the AH.
1. You have enough money to spend for some investment in the auction house.
2. You decide for an ressource, which people always need. I started
with Light Leather and worked myself up to more valuable and expensive
ressources like Mooncloth.
3. Watch the prices in the AH, lets take Light Leather. On my server
it sells for 15-35 silver. Your decide a fair price, lets say 25
silver (for direct buy!) Its important to make a price that has a good
profit range without getting unfair for the other players.
4. You buy everything thats under your price. With Light Leather its
really much, but the more valuable ressources are more rarely and less
stress for you! Decide a fair price with a nice profit range.
5. You put about 10 Light Leather pakets (with 10 each) for 25 silver
in the AH an will always be the cheapest offerer. I selled my stuff
very fast most time. If you have the time, check the AH a few times
each day for cheaper offers and buy them away. Don't forget to fill up
your offers!
With Light Leather average profit: 5 Silver - that makes with 20
packets of Leather directly 1 Gold! Thats also a very low speculation
for your profit. With more valuable ressources your profit range can
get up to 2 to 5 gold!
Result: You make your own monopoly! With enough starting capital you
and a good look at the ingame economy you will hold it. People always
buy from the cheapest offerer and this will always be you Smile ! I have
on most servers even pure trade characters, with starting capital from
my main char. When you have more money you can start with valuable
ressources at once and have less stress. If you don't act like an
idiot you will have everything done in a few minutes and have
stressless gold for your main character. I had much success with it
and my gold fund grew continuously. On a really good day I can make
30-50 gold with that monopoly - only for a short walk from AH to
mailbox.
Few Tips: After some time you should make 1-2 other trade characters
for each server, because people will read your name to often and that
could be in some cases no good thing. Or change between the different
ressources often!
