Ok, so I know that most of you know or have done this before by installing from a different website, but today I was going to create a new WoW folder so I can use it as a test for bots, programs, and anything really, so if you mess something up you still have your back up and your original. I could not figure out how to Install WoW onto my computer a second time since whenever I put in my install CD it just said play, because WoW does not support this feature. Well I messed around a little and found out how easy it really was and posted this in case some others were wondering this same thing.
I first recommend backing up your World of Warcraft folder first in case something does happen, that way you still have your AddOns and interface, Than all you have to do is navigate to your WoW folder and delete Wow.exe and Launcher.exe(copy them before or be sure you can get them restored from recycling bin), When the CD launches it looks for the launcher and game client to see if you have it, if it cannot find it than it brings up the install option. Now once finished launch your CD and click install, sometime it will come up with a window showing errors saying some files may be changed, those are ok and just click OK. Now after you install your first expansion install the next and than Lich King (if you have them of course) and keep continuing, than once finished you can now paste or restore your Wow and Launcher.exe
Now if something happened and it did not work it's a **** good thing you SHOULD of backed up your WoW folder =)
As a side note I would place your new WoW folder into an area not in your original (default: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft) and put it either on desktop, your own folder, or just C drive since theres a smaller chance you can corrupt a file or Blizzard catches something in the wrong one and you get flagged.
