Guild A is a 200+ member guild that frequently kills off MC.
Guild B is a small guild, @90 players, but can only field @20 people per raid.
Guild A offers Guild B a chance to kill the first 2 bosses in MC - Guild A will fill the raid out and add /recruit 15 other people and supply 5 "knowledgable" escorts to get it done.
After the 2 bosses are done {Luci/Madg} group leadership is passed to one of the 5 Guild A members - and 35 people disband. At this point the group raid is reformed with 35 new Guild A members to continue offering more chances at the last bosses/loot for Guild A member.
Cascaded instances do not save you to them because they are expired yet they still have loot tables.
this worked before the raid calendar, its kind of hard to explain but basically say you started MC on a wednesday and it reset on tuesday. say another guild starts MC on thursday and it resets on wednesday. you get 1 friend saved to their instance. after clearing your MC on tuesday, your tag would reset, and you could join your friends instance and clear that instance by wednesday. then you clear mc again on thursday. thats 3 ragnaros in 3 days. but it was fixed

Instance Switching 09/12/2006 - WoW Exploits, Hacks, Tools & Macros - 17 Replies Some people originally thought "instance switching" was being able to switch the portals that let you into instances so that lets say the rfc actually sends you to molten core. That is incorrect, what instance switching really is making the inside of an instance into something else.
Just go to the Terrain.wmo and start looking through and switching instances. SchoolofNecromany is Scholomance. And CavernsOfTime is Old Hillsbrad.

Mobs should get stuck at the portal, and after a minute or so disappear.
