ok, this happend today. i'll tell u the story..
i was on my char today and i see in trade channel that their was a lvl 1 alt telling everyone he is selling raid instance spots and items.. his name was "Validusbank" Validus is one of the biggest guilds on our server..
Well u prolly know what im gonna tell u now... But first, i'll show u what they posted on the forums.

Hi guys Alex here,
I am sorry to say that the Validusbank that was spamming 100g per item in BWL and other instances was indeed a person faking it. It was not me nor do we have a character called Validusbank associated with the guild. You can guess who was behind it.. You only get 1.
But it did produce results I am sorry for.
I got 100's of in game mail as instructed and about 4000g mailed to me. I returned all of your money but didn't have time to formally apologize to you individually for what happen. This was not a Validus promotion.

So yeah.. the scam is easy, make a lvl 1 alt and make sure u name it as one of the biggest guilds on ur server like "Validusbank" or somthing. then tell everyone in Trade channel that u are selling epics and BWL spots for 100g and to mail it to u.
You might get banned though.. >.< but u can always go on ur main char and sell something for 10000g or how much u got from the scam and let the lvl 1 alt buy it making u get the gold on ur main, dunno if that works or is detectable from blizz. but yeah

Mach dir einen Lvl 1 Char mit dem Namen einer High-End Gilde auf deinem Server, sprich BWL-Clear Farmstatus und so^^ und häng noch ein Bank dran, zum Beispiel Validusbank (Validus heißt die Gilde) Dann spammst du in IF rum dass du einen BWL Raidplatz verkaufst oder Items die in BWL droppen. Die interessierten Leute sollen einfach 100g an deinen Main schicken, dann werden sei das nächste mal mitgenommen.
Also mal ganz im ernst, wer auf sowas reinfällt :/ Ich hab persönlich noch keine scams ausprobiert, aber alle die ich hier bisher gesehen hab sind extrem dumm und ich kanns kaum glauben dass Leute auf sowas reinfallen ^^

As the title says this scam is unbannable and does not require much.
First at all find a realm with high population and lot of rich players
Then create a new character name it like: Sendmemoney or Sendmegold.
Here come what you have to do. Make a macro like this:
/2 Hello everybody! My name is Sendmemoney. I've made this character to see how fast i can collect 100 gold. Send me some gold and i'll add you name to a list, which will be posted on your server forum WITH VIDEO....

Steps
1. Go to markeedragon.com go to one of the sub forums for items wow gold and such forgot which one.
2. Post a thread saying something like "Buying high amounts of gold on paying extremely well"
3. You should get an IM soon.
4. Go for the big stuff like 5,000g.

Ok, So i was sitting naked in IF on one of my alts, complainin that my account got hacked (As a joke, Yeah i was bored). Anyway, Ten minutes into my crying, Some guy came up and wispered me "Sorry to hear about your account, hope this helps" and gave me 100g, and it carried on like this for about an hour. Now ive got about 800g When i only had 300g before Just thought id share this with you guys.
