Basically what happens is that the server does not change what your doing, so I thought in water you have free movement, so I jumped into some water close to mountains and put on Auto run and right clicked my WoW window. Then 10-30 seconds later I clicked myself back into the game and I was on the top of the mountain.Quote:

Explanation of this exploit would be that the server still thinks you're in the water and so lets you 'swim' up without getting stopped by stuff that would usually stop you.
Note: It seems that after a short while you will get disconnected from the server, which is only a minor annoyance since it only takes 10-20 seconds to log back in. My research tells me it's about 30-60 seconds of not having any contact with the server that causes this.
Note 2: There is some parts of the mountains that this exploit can't walk over and if the mountain is too high you will just eventually stop.
