Found a new use for \N
Thought of it while driving to work, and I just tried it. I have a level 60 rogue who has a bag full of the Winterspring Eko buffs, and a bunch of lower level toons who could use them while grinding, or my Mage or Priests buffs.
Move all your alts to the same location and log on with the one you want buffed, but make sure its a high enough level to recieve the buff. Open the chat and type \n. This will instantly boot you from the server. (make sure you type \n and not /n.)
Now that you are booted, you have 30 seconds or so to log back on with the alt casting the buff. You will see both your alts standing next to eachother. At this point you have about 15 seconds left to buff the first alt, and/or its pet. Once the first alt disapears, you can log back on normally and you are now buffed.
The only down side is that some buffs don't last if you log off. Not sure which ones are which, so you may have to play with it yourself.
