Vanish Not Resetting Mobs HP
Ist copy&paste.
Today i was running around in nagrand (don't ask why) and i decided to try how much would i crit with ambush to the mob next to me. I accidentally used a macro instead of ambush (which casts ambush and vanishes immediately) and i noticed the mob took the damage from my ambush and did not aggro me. So what makes this an exploit? Well the mob just continued walking around like normal but it's health pool did not reset as it would normally do when a rogue vanishes.
This can be useful when leveling and trying to solo a harder mob, ambushing without the mob to aggro and start killiing it when it doesn't have full hp.
The macro i used was rather simple:
/cast Ambush
/cast Vanish
I don't know if this works with other aggro resetting abilities since I haven't had time to test it on my huntard yet.
Tried it several times on different mobs and it worked great. I also tried to replace ambush with garrote but it didn't work out well

have you tested it on other mobs or only the one in Nagrand?

It should work on every mob.

müsste man mal mit mage und instant unsichtabr testen.. aber irgendwie bin ich so faul
Edit:
krass geht wirklich... feuerball casten... unsichtbar hämmern..... unsichtbar werden... wenn man sich nach ein paar sec wieder sichtbar macht hat der mob immernoch weniger hp... und regeneriert sich nur ganz langsam (normaler reg).... nur als mage recht unnützlich, da man so selten unsichbar werden kann... alle 2 minuten ein schuss.... da regt er wohl schneller
aber wenn man mit 10 mages das macht könnte man vielleicht auch was großes legen.. lohnt sich aber wohl eher net

Wenn man 10 Mages hat, dann kann man auch ohne Unsichtbarkeit was Großes legen. ^^
Zum Bug: Gleich mal austesten, level mir momentan eine Schurkin.

Naja, könnte ich mir zum leveln ganz nett vorstellen, zB. um Gruppenquests zu soloen. Auf Deutsch: Das Makro castet Ambush auf einen Mob und danach direkt Vanish. Der Trick dabei ist, das ihr so keine Aggro bekommt (der Mob euch also quasi garnicht warnimmt), er aber trotzdem schaden erleidet, was zB. ohne Makro nicht möglich wäre.

Well, i was on the PTR, and figured something out. Ok, if you kill a a mob in there, and the group surrounding it isnt dead, and you guys wipe, the monster you killed respawns and you can get rep off it again.
