World of Warcraft Botting reviews (Cataclysm)

> This is NOT a promotion for Sin, nor is it meant to bash Baneto. It’s simply a detailed, honest review based on 6 months of real use in World of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm (and a bit on Anniversary) from someone who has tested both bots in-depth.

My Setup and Experience
Used Sin on 2 secondary accounts and Baneto on my main (originally with NilName, got banned in a week). Switched to Tinkr.

Baneto Monthly Costs:
- Baneto: €20
- OneZero Pro Profiles: €40
- Tinkr: €20 + €10 session
- Crypto Fee: €10
Total: €100+ per month

Sin: $13 all-in-one (bot + profiles + unlocker)

The price gap is huge. Let’s get into the real differences.

Gathering Comparison
Sin: All Cataclysm zones covered. Dual or specific gathering available.
Baneto + OneZero: Missing Vashj'ir. Not all gathering modes supported per zone.

Gold per hour test based on TSM price, same server (10h/day over 2 days, Unfortunately on the second day, Baneto's bot shut down during the night, lol):
- Sin (Paladin): 434g/GPH
- Baneto (Druid): 349g/GPH

Despite using druid on Baneto (wich is faster), Sin outperformed.
+ Sin Feature: Automatically sends mats to Guild Bank = safer than mailing = big win.

Raw Gold Profiles
Baneto + OneZero: Almost no usable Raw dungeon farming. Only Weak outdoor profiles.

Sin:
- Naxxramas, Botanica, Gundrak, and many more
- Up to 2000g/hr (Naxx) with geared pal
- Same outdoor profile than OneZero but better > Uses Potion of Treasure Finding automatically, better aoe rotation, etc.
- Strong AOE path
- Works out-of-the-box

Leveling 1-85
Baneto + OneZero: No questing, only grinding
→ Verry Low XP, buggy, always needs supervision
→ Report risk

Sin:
- Fully automated questing 1-85 (all classes & races)
- They have dedicated dev Tyche dev + chinese leveling guide author
- Immediate fixes via DM

Stability & Automation
Sin:
- HWID changer (absolutely insane sécurity tweak when we see that some people here sell HWID changer for 10$ month lol)
- Auto-relog, auto-login, auto-resume, Custom bot runtime
- by Default no manual babysitting
- Better security than NilName (if used without hacks)

Safety Rating (from experience):
- Baneto with Tinkr (Mac): 8/10
- Sin (Windows): 6/10
- Baneto with NilName: 3/10

Extra Profiles & Tweaks
Sin:
- AH auction house profiles (EAZYAH-style for people who know)
- Alt friendly
- Smart use of unlocker like using wall trick (exemple use mailbox through the wall, or open all the doors in the game, like those in the Scarlet Monastery, without a key)

- Optional: flyhack, climbhack, double jump (use responsibly)
- Includes most of every 1-525 professions (auto-buys mats), Built-in archaeology (sold for €50 elsewhere)..

Baneto + OneZero:
- Extremely limited free content
- No innovation, very few interesting routes
- Manual step-by-step profile setup
- Bambo told me to come back the next day after I reported a paid 50$ archaeology profile issue because apparently, it was "not its working hours."
→ For a €100/month setup, that’s laughable

Final Verdict


OneZero good guy to be honnest but his work is becoming a running joke in the community for charging premium prices for what amounts to outdated, unmaintained content. The UI is a complete disaster: clunky, unintuitive, and unchanged from a decade ago (an indian on fiveer could charge 20$ to make a modern ui). For €40/month, users expect a modern interface with clean navigation, the ability to preview and edit profiles, quality-of-life features like runtime timers, logging, or gold-per-hour tracking. OneZero offers none of this.

For Baneto (Bambo) profile list (200$ lifetime) its same and even worse, the number of profiles you get for that price is insultingly low you’re paying prenium for three outdated profiles that barely function. There's no raw gold content worth running, no automation logic, no profession systems, nothing that truly leverages what Baneto as a bot is capable of.

This ongoing negligence is hurting Baneto's overall reputation.This ecosystem dragging the entire platform down. If Baneto wants to be taken seriously in the long run, they need to start making smarter decisions like hiring actual developers who understand the game, the market, and how to build scalable, efficient profiles.

The current approach overpriced access with outdated tools and zero innovation is alienating your user base. This isn’t 2012, it’s 2025. Either improve your product, or step aside and let someone else do it better.

I agree with the part about the costs; the NA/EU market for botting is extremely overpriced. Now they complain that customers are nonexistent, but they've clearly just priced themselves out of the market. The problem isn't with the products themselves (mostly), it's with their pricing; the math just doesn't add up for anyone who wants to get into farming as a hobby or business. It's already hard enough to deal with server-side herustics and losing accounts more often than it used to be; now, with "AI"-based technologies, it's become a lot easier to track and detect bots on Blizzards end (they even admitted to be using these technologies since SOD), and really these bot providers have done very little or nothing at all to even innovate around those nuences (not that they even know 100% what they are).

I mean, if you're going to get banned anyway, might as well just use the cheap Chinese bots, the risk is going to be the same, and the price is clearly better. I never thought I would say that, but clearly the NA/EU bots can't keep up with the times in terms of Price vs Risk, vs Reward.

The idea that using Mac as opposed to Windows for farm botting will extend your farming experience is simply foolish, because most bans in farming are not even connected to the unlockers themselves. They're usually caused by heuristics or players reporting bots. This isn’t to say that Windows unlockers never get bans, because they have had plenty of detections historically, and it is true Tinkr Mac unlocker has never been detected itself, it has, however, had instances where 3rd party plugins/addons (whatever you wish to call them) have been the detection vector, and farmers still get banned in approx the same amount of time farming on Mac, unless they have some custom profiles or horse shoes up there buttholes, because simply as stated before server sided checks and player reporting still exist on Mac just as they do on Windows.
