Rice Rotations Back? Denies Accusations of Being Elk 2.0
Thoughts? Seems like them reforming after the ban wave involves a 2nd PC / virtual machine, although the specifics elude me. I tried them for a bit and thought they were good especially for the price, but security was a concern for me and I turned out to be correct. Will be interesting to see if they can solve those issues going forward!

I don't think it really matters too much, to be honest; at this point, it is what it is. It's not as if Elk wasn't one of the better pixel bots that existed in terms of function, quality of life, and active development. While the security ended up being its Achilles heel, it had everything else going for it.
More importantly, if they have found better methods to stay undetected and keep the application from running on the main PC on which the game is running itself, then that is good. Pixel bots tend to leave a larger than usual footprint for Warden to detect, so eliminating a big portion of that is good.
Running the application from a VM machine is not a bad idea, to be honest. I guess we will see how it goes.

It's not uncommon for some users of a service to avoid a ban when many others receive one. This doesn't mean the product is safe or undetected!

Im not sure why old members got kicked from the discord on the original ban - was part of it when they offered the introduction price never had issues but just one day couldn't see the discord server.

Having private discords, kicking unsubscribed users from Discord, and asking for identification from users are all copium by cheat devs to give the illusion that this keeps the community safe, while it really doesn't do anything at all.
Unless you have a super private product with a handful of users that you personally know, you might as well just be public and stop using these types of tactics to give artificial safety to users, because that's really all it is.
Either your product is safe, and you're confident of your product's ability to be undetected, or it's not safe at all, and you have to attempt to hide it in demented hope that Blizzard won't find their way in if they haven't already been there all along and detecting your products over an afternoon tea break over at Blizzard.

How exactly does this 2pc / VM work?
The last time I “botted” was with ELK, and I was one of the players who got banned. @ I got banned from Elk after a year, so it doesn't matter how long you feel safe.
But back to my question. With a 2pc/VM system, you install WoW on your main computer and then run the bot on the 2pc/VM?
How exactly do you play the game then?

You just play on your regular system and stream the pixels (and only the pixels) to a second pc or a vm where the bot is. Thats about it. The vm is for most ppl the better option as its a very light vm. It doesnt need much resources cause it only handles a small stream and the bot which is both very light. A mini pc or an old laptop do the trick as a second pc already in case thats better for you. I was a bit sceptical at first but i did both setups at some point and it runs super smooth. Combined with those very well developed rotation from rice its really enjoyable in my opinion, but thats just a personal optinion. Other might see that differently

Okay, and how are the keystrokes transmitted? The bot on the VM has to do something too, right?

Rice Rotations setup - help needed
12/08/2024 - WoW Bots - 2 Replies
Hi guys,
I have a problem setting up Rice Rotations - anyone has an invite link to the discord? The link on the website isnt working.
I get following error message:
" Error Reading Screen Value"
*edit1*: so this error message disapeared, after I restarted the game, but now I'm struggeling to make it work. I did the keybinds, but it doesnt press any buttons - in the log it states, that it does, but nothing happens.
" Input interceptor initialization failed."

Looking to get a somewhat affordable PvE rotation bot for WoW;preferably AIO.
I've seen Rice Rotations and Aimsharp being recommended a few places and was wondering if anyone had any reviews/feedback from using both or either program.
