Recently we experimented with win10lite and there seems to be a security vulnerability which makes people receive a blizzard message about someone trying to access their account.
Are we responsible?
Yes, we should have tested with a smaller group of people first. The email thing was received 1 week after of using the new win10lite and that's why we didn't notice it at first. The win10 and win10lite gave better performance than the win7 we used previously and that's why we tried to change.
Are there any consequences to the users?
There are no big consequences for our users. Every time someone receives PW reset email blizzard simply reset the previously used password and those who tried to tried to access the account were never able to.
The users had nothing stolen and they would only have to contact blizzard with email or whatever to get account opened up again.
Why trust us?
We have been supporting our users for several years with a friendly attitude. Just to check history of every message in our discord channel. We never gained everything from getting people's account temporarily locked. Our intention was simply to give a better experience with using win10lite instead of win7. The consequences weren't that big and we apologize for this misstep.
Is it resolved and is it safe to use the bot?
Yes, it's safe to use the bot. We have updated our premade virtual machines to be run on win10pro from Microsoft's Official website instead of win7lite and it's undetected by the warden.
